Our History
DI-Guy is the human simulation software division of Boston Dynamics. Founded in 1992, Boston Dynamics is an engineering company that specializes in building dynamic robots and software. The company began as a spin-off from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where National Academy of Engineering member Marc Raibert and his colleagues first developed robots that ran and maneuvered like animals.
DI-Guy leverages the technical innovations developed by the robotics team to advance the core capabilities and functionality available in our software tools.
